Animals and Pets
You can get a variety of anmals/pets in Harvest moon back to nature. Learn about them on this page! I will post pics soon too. Bear with me!!
Dog
At the beginning of the game, you start off with the dog. Like every other Harvest Moon game. You can whistle for it to come to you and you can pick it up. When Won sells you the ball for the dog for 100g, you should use it to train your dog every day so yuor dog can win the Dog Race! Also, when it is trained it can help you with things like driving stray dogs away from your ranch (otherwise the dogs will eat the crops).Horse
Also, at the beginning of the game, you can get a horse if you visit the Yodel Ranch. You can use it to win the horse race and collect crops with it when it grows up (when it is fully grown you can just put crops into the saddlebags and they are automatically shipped). It grows up in 1yr as long as you talk to it and brush it each day. You buy a brush from the blacksmith for 800g.Sheep
Sheep eat fodder, like cows (duh). When you get a sheep and clippers, you cut their wool each week after it grows up. There ar four different types of wool: small wool, medium wool, large wool, and gold wool. Gold wool is best but you need to win the sheep festival before you get it. Be sure you brush and talk to them EVERY day. Also, you can buy a yarn maker from the blacksmith, and yarn sells for more than wool does. Clippers Cost 1800g from Saibara. Also you can buy a bell from Yodel for 500g. Once you upgrade the henhouse you can buy the mayo and yarn maker from the blacksmith.Cows
You buy Cows from the Yodel Ranch for 5000g each. Cows also eat fodder. Grass to plant and grow you buy from the supermarket for 500g a bag and fodder you buy from the Yodel Ranch for 20g apiece. There are also 4 types of milk small, medium, large, and gold. Gold milk you have to get from winning the Cow festival. You can also buy c cheesemaker from the blacksmith for a LOT of money. It's worth it though! Tips/Secrets tells about the Tools. You can buy a cheesemaker after you upgrade the barn (buy from blacksmith).Chickens
